(6-day Leadership Trips for Youth)

Wendigo Lake Expeditions: ACHIEVE Programs is pleased to announce the launch of a series of Leadership Canoe Trips for youth in the summer of 2012. These Leadership Development Experiences are being offered at a discounted rate to individual CAS Agencies all over Ontario. These are the options:

6 DAY ALGONQUIN PARK ADVENTURE (BOYS)
9 DAY PETAWAWA RIVER TOUR (Whitewater) (BOYS)
6 DAY CUSTOM CANOE TRIPS (Agency Specific Youth) (BOYS & GIRLS)

GENERAL INFORMATION:
• Registered Participants can be picked up & dropped off from a central location in their region on the start day of the Trip (small charge applies).
• Youth do not need to bring ANY equipment! All equipment and clothing is supplied by WLE.
• Three highly qualified Wendigo Guides will take 10 youth from each region on an adventure that will last a lifetime! Most trips take place in either the Algonquin Park, Temagami or Petawawa River Regions. All trips are gender specific.

STUDENT PROFILE: Who Should Attend?
Wendigo Lake Expeditions is well known for its high quality, accredited Wilderness & Adventure based Therapy programs. While these 6 Day Leadership offerings are designed to be a short term personal development/personal challenge, all of our guides are highly skilled in helping youth transfer learning from the wilderness, back to their home environments.

This program is designed for:
• Youth looking to expand their Leadership Qualities and engage in an exciting challenge
• Youth who have an interest in Wilderness Adventure
• Youth struggling with self esteem/confidence issues
• Youth looking to learn new skills and develop new relationships!

BOOKING/COST INFORMATION:

6 DAY ALGONQUIN PARK ADVENTURE (BOYS)
July 5th – 10th, 2012
$1200.00 plus HST per youth

9 DAY PETAWAWA RIVER TOUR (Whitewater) (BOYS)
August 1st – 9th, 2012
$1800.00 plus HST per youth

6 DAY CUSTOM CANOE TRIPS (Agency Specific Youth) (BOYS & GIRLS)
AGENCY DISCOUNT! $1000.00 plus HST per youth. Minimum 9 youth group size.

21 Day Missinaibi River Voyage for Youth Ambassadors!
WLE ACHIEVE is working on providing a 21 Day trip to youth CAS Ambassadors from throughout Ontario. These special youth participants will paddle from Chapleau down the historic Missinaibi River to Moosonee! This trip is for youth in the CAS who have worked hard to initiate change in their lives and who have shown extraordinary leadership in their communities. Students will be nominated by individual agencies. The trip will be funded with Corporate/Private Sponsors in the summer of 2013.
